without specific, written prior permission from Hollandshopper.Hollandshopper is not responsible for typographical, technical, or descriptive errors of products listed on this website.
The information contained in this website is subject to change without notice (including after you have submitted your order).
Acceptance of general terms and conditions
The present terms and conditions shall apply to each offer and agreement between Hollandshopper and the customer,
insofar as parties have not explicitly deviated from the present terms and conditions in writing.
The present terms and conditions shall also apply to agreements with Hollandshopper who will call for the services of third parties for the execution
Possible deviations from the present general terms and conditions shall only be valid provided they have been explicitly in writing.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales transactions with Hollandshopper.
Ordering
Please make sure you know if a product may be imported at your destination country and also check the important information tab on the products page.
Hollandshopper is not responsible for the deterioration or confiscation of those products if you decide to order them.
If you live in a country which may have high temperatures or a hot or humid climate please be very considerate of the items you are ordering are suitable for transport and delivery.
Meat, salads, fish, cheese, alcohol and dairy products may not be suitable to travel long distances, and could be prohibited in some countries.
Above products are always ordered at your own risk.
Note that aerosols (deodorants, whipped cream eg) are prohibited to travel by plane.
We use a minimum order amount of 10 euros (excluding shipping costs) on the website.
This means that you can only pay for shopping baskets filled from 10 euros worth of products.
Due to the rising shipping and logistics costs, we are forced to make a change in this.
We use a relatively large amount of cardboard for small packages and the same transport costs as for slightly larger orders.
Are you under 25 years old? Show your ID when you receive the messages. We do not sell alcohol to people under the age of 18.
Age verification on the website, and also possible before the package is sent and ID check upon delivery.
Don’t write a business name if you don’t own or work at the business your parcel is delivered to, this will delay your parcel.
We advise you to list your telephone number, so in case of delivery questions the postal company can contact you to avoid delays.
Order confirmation
As soon as Hollandshopper has received the order and payment has been confirmed, the order will be processed.
Please check your order confirmation carefully, because once your order is processed we cannot change the products anymore.
After order processing all products are ordered and paid for by us.
Products on special order or which are temporarily sold out will be sourced as soon as possible but may cause a delay in sending your order.
If you cancel or want to adjust your order while it is not send yet or don't follow our directions or warnings, the bank costs paid by us will be deducted from your refund.
We already paid that and we cannot get that back, so please check your order carefully before payment.
After you place your order, it might take 4-6 business days for your order to be shipped, we order most items after an order is placed,
to guarantee freshest possible products.
Prices
All prices are listed in Euros, and are displayed on our website without VAT.
For customers in the E.U: VAT (or BTW in Dutch) will be added to the products and shipping costs in your shopping cart.
That price including VAT is calculated with the local VAT of the destination country. (New E.U law from 1-7-2021)
The prices listed on Hollandshopper.nl are stated in good faith.
However, you accept that mistakes can be made when uploading prices onto the site,
or that price may vary between when we display a price and when the goods are purchased.
Accordingly, we may validate your order before we accept it.
We also reserve the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order) before acceptance, or not to accept the order at all.
In case this provision affects your submitted order, we will inform you through email, and if applicable, offer you the opportunity to cancel your order.
When the correct price is higher than the price displayed on your order we may contact you by email or phone
to let you know the correct price and provide you the opportunity to cancel your order.
The total price at check-out includes the products, delivery costs and optional VAT charges (for delivery in the E.U only)
In no case we will charge you duty and or import fees.
Local costs may be charged, Hollandshopper has no influence over this.
Customs duty and Quarantine
Deliveries outside the EU: the customer is responsible for possible import duties in the country of delivery.
Hollandshopper is not responsible for the confiscation of products due to custom regulations in the country of destination.
It is the customers responsibility to contact their local customs-office about regulations prior to ordering.
Hollandshopper has no control over this and cannot be held responsible for this.
If a parcel is refused by you or customs, or confiscated at the border as a result of customs or quarantine regulations and returned to Hollandshopper,
we will refund only the sales value of the goods upon the actual receipt of the goods, only when they are in good shape and have not been deteriorated or out of date.
Hollandshopper is not liable if the parcel is lost upon return, as a result of postal failure, and is therefore not received back.

Payments
All prices are displayed in Euros. If you use PayPal or credit cards, they accepts most currencies.
You have the option of using:
-Credit and Debit cards through our secure online Mollie ordering system (Mollie is fully PCI DSS-compliant)
-PayPal
-Ideal (the Netherlands)
-Bancontact/Mister Cash and Belfius (Belgium)
When you place an order and selected credit-card payment, you will be redirected to the Mollie payment screen.
All Mollie credit card payments are made without us knowing your credit card details for added security.
One of the most effective ways to protect yourself from identity theft is to keep your financial information private.
Mollie enables you to pay without sharing your financial information with sellers.
Not only is your financial information kept private, Mollie guarantees 100% protection against unauthorized payments sent from your account.
We only accept 3-D Secure cards of the programs: Verified by Visa, Safekey and MasterCard SecureCode.
If you pay online with a debit/credit card, your bank may charge you a fee, Hollandshopper cannot be held responsible for any fees payable.
Hollandshopper expects payment before shipment.
Guarantee
Hollandshopper guarantees that the goods to be delivered shall meet the usual requirements and standards that can be set for and made upon them
and that they have taken all the necessary care and attention to assure they correspond to the description that is given on the site and date the order was made.
The guarantee mentioned above shall be valid for the standard period the goods ought to be fresh, until the best before date if applicable.
Hollandshopper guarantees that it will not send products that over the due date, or will soon be over the due date within reason ability.
Hollandshopper cannot be held responsible for products being over the due date, due to the fact that you were not able to pick up the package in time.
When products are packed for delivery, the freshest and the furthest away due dates are being used.
No guarantee is given for any deterioration in the products due to atmospheric, climatic or other conditions during transport, delivery to,
or storage of the products from time of dispatch to consuming of the products.
It is the responsibility of the customer to store products in a decent manner and/or temperature until consuming of the product.
If the label on the product is unclear or in a different language please contact Hollandshopper to seek advice about the right storage place.
Also no guarantee is given at defects goods when this is the result of injudicious or improper use or when the customer
or third parties have introduced changes or tried to introduce changes to the products without Hollandshoppers knowledge
or consent in writing or if they have used it for purpose for which the products were not intended.
Possible visible shortcomings or damage must be reported via the contact form or a reply to your order confirmation by email,
within 24 hours after receiving the goods, together with the invoice or order number and photos of the defect goods and packaging with label visible.
Damaged goods will be refunded to the amount of the purchase price, paid for the damaged item(s) at the discretion of Hollandshopper.
In the event of visible damage, make a note to the carrier immediately at all times upon delivery.
All goods leave our premises in good condition.
Hollandshopper cannot recognize claims for damage due to atmospheric, climatic or other conditions beyond our control.
If chocolate products are exposed to heat or cold they may melt or discolour or lose their surface gloss and acquire what is known as bloom,
bloom is a film of crystallized sugar cocoa butter which does not impair the flavour or eating quality.
The most favourable storage temperature for chocolate products is between 16 C and 22 C and not in direct sunlight.
Products which have a short shelf life or may need cooling might not be suitable to travel long distances or to be send to hot humid countries.
All products are send unrefrigerated, you can buy a cooling package which helps temperature differences during transport.
It will not stay cool all the way, but it helps.
Air pressure during transport by plane may cause bags with much air (eg chips, coffee-pods) to vacuum or open, this is beyond our control.
No guarantee is given if you buy products or specials where the products are over the best before date.
If a product has a best-before date, you could purchase and consume the product after that date, though the food may not be at its peak quality,
therefore you have received a discount on the regular sales price.
The best before date is clearly stated in the product description if applicable.
Hollandshopper cannot and will not for any reason, be held liable for any deterioration in the products due to customers failure to read the products description.
Many computer monitors are not correctly (particularly LD monitors and laptops) and colours may appear different to the actual products.
Colours may also change slightly with each batch of confectionery made.
If colour is important to you we suggest that you purchase a small quantity of the product to see the real colour before buying in bulk.
We cannot exchange product because the colour is different than the image on your computer monitor.
Because products are regularly renewed the delivered packaging may differ from the packaging shown in the images.
Hollandshopper tries to keep up, and tries to adjust this as well and quickly as possible,
but Hollandshopper takes no responsibility for products that might look a bit different or with a slightly different description than on our website.
Product availability
If a product is (temporarily) out of stock or discontinued, Hollandshopper has the right to cancel a product or order.
We will not send a substitute for any A-brand product without your consent. We will contact you to discuss.
For the Home brands: Albert Heijn, Jumbo, G'woon, Deka, Plus and so on we will send whatever is available fastest.
These brands have products that are very similar or the same, if you don't want this or you want a specific brand, please mention this in the comment box.
Hollandshopper reserves the right not to accept payment, and therefore not to confirm, for whatever reason, any order,
including but not limited to reasons resulting from product supply.
All orders are subject to product availability, a product may be discontinued or unavailable after you ordered it.
We have little to no stock.
If a product is discontinued the chances are slim that we still have it in stock or we are able to order it.
Ask before you order.
Shipping
Your parcel is covered for up to € 200 for loss in transit, and you will be send a tracking number after your order is shipped.
For parcels send within the Netherlands, insurance needs to be elected during check-out, otherwise your parcel is not insured.
Any parcels left at an unattended address are at your own risk and Hollandshopper is not responsible under any circumstance.
Hollandshopper uses the postal rates of PostNL or DHL based on the weight of your order.
In some cases, when the parcel is light but bulky, the postal company may use the volume weight, based on package dimensions, to calculate the actual postage.
If this is the case we will inform you about the additional shipping costs through an email.
Delivery
If you place an order on Hollandshopper.nl please make sure you double check the delivery address.
If there is incorrect information please let us know asap by replying to your email confirmation with the adjustments to the address.
Hollandshopper can and will not be hold responsible of the failure to deliver a parcel due to an incorrect or wrong address given to us.
Additional costs for the return of wrongly addressed, refused or not picked up parcels are for the customer to pay.
Once we hand over a parcel it is out of Hollandshoppers hands, and all costs involved will be at the customers expense.
If you refuse the parcel, you are not able to accept the parcel or don't pick it up and it is send back to us, the return postage costs will be for your account.
These costs are the same as the postage costs you paid to deliver the parcel, we will be charged for them also.
If there is a refund possible, the costs will be deducted from that.
If you haven't received your parcel, you can check the whereabouts with the tracking number provided.
We can trace lost parcels, so let us know if you haven't received your parcel.
Returns
The customer has the right to cancel the order within fourteen calendar days from the date of receiving your order.
(E.U only) outside the E.U it is 7 days.
If for some reason you want to send items back, you need to get in contact with us first through the contact form
and we will give written permission to send the package back.
Upon receipt of your returned order, we give you a refund for the received items,
provided that: The items are returned as new, not opened, used or damaged and are in re-sale able condition.
If a return is authorized, any credit or refund that may be given will not include any postage charges paid.
We have paid the original freight costs to PostNL or our courier and that cost is not refundable.
Return postage must be paid by you the customer for any items returned to us.
This is normal procedure for online or mail order product returns.
We DO NOT accept returns if you change your mind or don't like the taste or colour, etc.
The costs of refused or not picked up parcels will be at costs for the customer.
If you return items from outside of the EU all costs involved are for your own risk (VAT, duty etc.)
All costs charged to us will be deducted from your refund.
Please note: Food items, on sale items, special orders and magazines cannot be returned at any time.
Liability
In no event shall Hollandshopper, Hollandshopper.nl and/or A Vogel be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages
including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.
To the extent permitted by law, Hollandshopper`s and/or A Vogel maximum liability to you under all circumstances
will be equal to the purchase price you pay for any goods sold through the Hollandshopper.nl website.
When the producer of a defective good is liable for consequential damage, Hollandshopper`s liability shall be limited to replacing the good, or returning the purchase price.
The customer is personal liable for its choice of products and after delivery is entirely responsible for the conservation and consumption of the products.
Although the allergens and ingredients information added to some products on the website of Hollandshopper is done with the utmost care,
Hollandshopper cannot be held liable for any errors and/or damage that may result from possible inaccuracies.
Please note that many products are produced in an environment where nuts are sometimes present therefore we are unable to guarantee
the products will be nut free even if that is stated in the allergens information added to the product description on the website.
Many manufacturers use the same production lines for a number of products for example so it is not possible to guarantee that any product is free of any particular ingredient.
Also recipes change from time to time.
Anyone with an allergy should read the ingredients listing on the product before consuming to assess if the products are suitable for their specific dietary needs or allergy.
If unclear please contact Hollandshopper before consuming.
Colours, shapes, etc for all products may change when new batches are made.
Hollandshopper cannot be held liable for any change in colour, shape, form, etc.
If this is important to you, please confirm with us prior to purchasing.
Please keep in mind that the colours, shapes, flavour, etc. of confectionery could change,
even if you have received samples or purchased this product before, when a new batch of the product is made.
We do not accept any liability if this change occurs.

We try to keep up with the newest packaging but we do not take responsibility if the product looks or is different.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us and our employees and staff harmless from any liability, loss, claim and expense,
including reasonable attorney’s fees, related to violation of this agreement or use of this website.
