Milka is a Swiss brand of chocolate confectionery, in 1901, the chocolatier Philippe Suchard launched the first milk chocolate in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) under the name Milka.

The Milka brand has a very well-known symbol - the "Milka cow". Remarkable about this cow is her lilac color and the "Alpine cowbell" around her neck.
The name "Milka" is a combination of the words Milch and Kakao (the German terms for milk and cocoa, the main ingredients of milk chocolate).
